About me – Staartjes Animal Healing Practice
Animals have been with me for as long as I can remember.
I grew up with them, and I noticed their unique characteristics, their sensitivity, and their quiet communication from an early age. For me, animals were never "possessions" – but rather individuals.
For many years I have been involved in animal welfare and have repeatedly witnessed how sensitively animals react to their environment, emotions, and changes. These experiences have shaped my path.
For me, working as an animal naturopath is not a profession in the classical sense.
It is an attitude. A responsibility. And a matter of the heart.
I'm taking my time.
I listen – to the animal and to the human.
I don't just look at symptoms, but at connections.
It is important to me that each animal is considered individually. There is no standard solution, but only the path that suits that specific living being.
I see my treatments as gentle support, as an impulse for self-regulation, and as accompaniment on the way back to balance.
Why I do what I do
Animals give us so much – unconditionally.
For me, giving something back is a matter of course.
This practice arose from my own conviction:
That healing needs space. Patience. Attention. And respect.
Personal
In my personal life, I live with my own animals and know how much they are part of the family. That's precisely why I work with mindfulness, empathy, and a desire to provide sustainable support.
